Our greenhouses and conservatories are equipped with 4-mm clear float glass, as standard, and with good reason. Float glass insulates and provides very good light transmission. Furthermore, float glass is 30% stronger than ordinary horticultural glass, so it's very good in cases of strong winds or if a tree branch falls onto the roof or windows.

Of course, we apply 14-mm thermopane glass or 16-mm polycarbonate on structures for tropical plant lovers. And the option of tempered or safety glass is always available.
