What type of glass is used in the greenhouses?

Our greenhouses are fitted as standard with 4-mm clear float glass. Float glass is used as standard in the horticultural world because it is extremely strong and allows a lot of light in. We recommend that tropical plant enthusiasts opt for thermopane glass or polycarbonate sheets.You can also order safety glass (= toughened glass) from us, although in most cases standardfloat glass will suffice.
