What about freezing weather or storms?

In the autumn, conditions can get pretty tough outdoors.

When the temperature drops: As soon as frosts begin, loosen the cylinders of your automatic openers and store them (in the kitchen, utility or storage room). Insulate your greenhouse with bubble wrap and/or use and electric or other type of heating to protect frost-sensitive plants.

It is getting windy: Strong winds or storm can cause glass breakage. Close the windows and doors of your greenhouse before a gust of wind blows them out.
